Deva Pureeswarar Temple


The Thevur Devapureeshwarar Shiva Temple of Thevur is one of the popular temples of Tamil Nadu that is known as the most religious place for Hindus. About the Temple

The spot Deyvoore speaks the truth 5 kms from Keez Velore, which speaks the truth 13 kms from Thiruvarore and around 12 kms from Nagapattinam. Teertham is Deva Teertham which is before the temple. Varuna, gowthama, Mrutha and Sanjeevini are other pushkarani for the temple. The sthala Vruksham is growing on stone which is something peculiar. There is no mud portion near the root. Legend and Stories
