It is believed that this Hemadpanti style temple was either constructed or worshipped by King Dasarath. The outer walls of this stone structure have carvings of Visnu, Ganapati and Maruti. A naked image of Buddha supported by a hooded cobra is present to the left of the temple's entrance and the image of Ardhanari Natesvar is carved in the inner portion of the ceiling.
