Overview
Bhadra Kali Temple is situated in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan State, India. The temple is primarily dedicated to Goddess Badra Kali.
About the Deity
The temple houses a two and half feet high red stoned vigraha of Goddess Bhadra Kali, a form of Goddess Durga.
About the Temple
This temple is considered quite ancient and was later renovated by Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji of Bikaner, who was an ardent devotee of Goddess Bhadra Kali. A round shaped Shikhar is found on top of the sanctum, with a prayer hall in its front. While there are no circumambulatory paths, a kitchen is present within the temple where dishes are prepared to offer the goddess. A couple of rooms are also found in the temple where materials for the pooja are stored.
Rare Fact
The temple is believed to be located near the course of the Mythical river Saraswathi. Goddess Bhadrakali is invoked in many mantras of Goddess Durga devi, especially in the sacred Angala stotra.

The nine day long Navaratra festival falling in the Hindu months of Chaitha and Ashwin are the prominent festivals celebrated in this shrine.
