Banteay Samre is a sanctuary at Angkor, Cambodia found east of the East Baray. Manufactured under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early twelfth century, it is a Hindu sanctuary in the Angkor Wat style. Named after the Samre, an aged individuals of Indochina, the sanctuary utilizes the same materials as the Banteay Srei.
