The Balajee Ka Mandir is a Vishnu Temple, located in Pushkar, in the Ajmer district, Rajasthan. Located about 10km from Ajmer, it is easily accesible through the various bus services that ply the route regularly. The temple can be easily missed as it resembles a large banyan tree, but is recognisable from its red paint. The temple is said to date back to the 12th century and is oriented in a North-South direction facing North. Prayer at this temple is said to grant fame, wealth, courage and nullify the adverse affects from planetary distrubances. Devotees are also known to pray to atone for sins, attain relief from diseases and escape bondage.
