Shikaripura is full of historical places and natural attractions that a tourist cannot miss. One such popular tourist or pilgrimage spot is the famous Anjaneya temple. This temple is called as Bhrantesha temple or Huchraya temple. The temple is also famous for its car festival celebrated during Hanuman Jayanthi. After the car festival a grand thepposthava is held in the lake nearby. Though the Hanuman temple is a few hundred years old, there is no records about the history of the temple. The government of Karnataka has taken various steps to improve the temple in the recent times.
