Overview
Aluru Ranganathaswamy Temple is situated at Aluru in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. This sanctuary was implicit the year 1334 A.D by Yerramraju, who was a chieftain at Bukkaraya court of Vijayanagara line. Yerramraju gave terrains to the sanctuary to meet temple expenses. Presently sanctuary is holding 51.48 acres of land. Temple was based on top of the slopes, beside the sanctuary, there is a natural spring, that streams between the stones for the entire year.

Annual Brahmotsavam festival starts on Chaitra Suddha Pournami day.
