The Allukkal temple is located in the Pookodu panchayat in the Trichur district, Kerala. The temple is located very close to the famous Guruvayoor temple. In fact exactly near to the temple’s Elephant shed. The main deity is considered to be of a special belief and hence is called a Bhramarakshasan. The idol is installed facing west and is a Shila Kannadi.
