The Achaleshwar Mahadev temple is a Shiva Temple that is situated right at before one enters Achalgarh, about 11 Kilometers north of Mount Abu. This ancient temple is over 3000 Years Old. This Temple has a deep hole, which signifies Shiva's toe. Unusual of a Shiva Temple which either has the deity or a lingam( symbolic representation of Shiva), devotees are blessed with the sight of Shiva's toe which is believed to be extending to the underworld (Pataal).
