Annamalaiyar Temple is a Hindu sanctuary committed to the divinity Shiva, situated at the base of Annamalai slopes in the town of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, India. It is critical to the Hindu order of Saivism as one of the sanctuaries connected with the five components, the Pancha Bhoota Stalas, and particularly the component of flame, or Agni. Shiva is worshiped as Annamalaiyar or Arunachaleswarar, and is spoken to by the lingam, with his godlike object alluded to as Agni lingam. His consort Parvati is portrayed as Unnamulai Amman.
