The Chaturthi that comes in the bright part is known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, while the Chaturthi that arrives in the dark half is known as Sankashti Chaturthi. This Sankashti Chaturthi is also celebrated as Bahula Chaturthi (Bol Choth) in Gujarat and some parts of Maharashtra.
