Padmavathi Parinayam Day 2

On the second day of Padmavathi Parinayam, Lord Sri Malayappa Swami arrives on his Aswa Vahanam and is followed by Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi on DHANTHAPU pallaki, as he proceeds to the newly constructed and specially decorated Kalyana Madapam at Narayanagiri for the ceremony.

Edurukolu, New clothes offering and Pulabanti Aata, Exchange of flower bouquet, rituals central to the wedding ceremony are traditionally conducted by Veda Pandits. Veda Parayanam, music and Harikatha take place during the wedding celebrations. After completion of wedding ceremony Lord Malayappa swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi return to the main temple in a grand procession.
