Chaumasi Chaudas is highly popular festival among the community of Jains. The festival starts on the Ashadi Purnima and concludes on the Kartick Purnima. The other name of this festival is Varsha Vaas. Chottanikkara Makam is a highly auspicious day observed at the famous Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple in Kerala.
