Atla Tadde

Atla Tadde is celebrated by married women of Andhra Pradesh for the long life of their husbands and it is similar toKarwa Chauth in North India. This is a festival that usually falls either in the month of September or October. Every year during the Telugu month of Aswiyuja, three days after full moon day, the Atla Tadde festival is celebrated. The main deity that is worshipped during this festival is Goddess Gowri.
