Self manifested idol of wild Durga faces east and the main deity Bhadrakali sits at Alparakavu in Perumbavoor Kotharnangalam. Every day 5 poojas are conducted. The members of the Mattappilly Madom perform the worship. This Devi is believed to be the sister of Goddess at Iringol temple. Sub deities include Nagaraja, Yakshi and Rakshas.
