The Mata Kankali Mandir in Kanker is an old sanctuary which houses an extremely delightful statue of Mata Kankali. Explorers from far and close-by towns visit this sanctuary to look for the goddess endowments and do Darshan and pooja in the time of Shardey Navratri and chaitra navratri.


How to Reach Mata Kankali Mandir, Kanker


Kankali Mandir‎ is situated near the Collectorate office. From NH-43 get on to the Collectorate office road, cross the Collectorate office which is located on the left, a little further ahead is Surya Gardens, on crossing Surya Gardens take the first right which will lead to the temple site. The temple is 1.5 km from the Old Bus Stand in Kanker city which can be reached by foot in about 15-20 minutes. Non-metered autos, taxis and local buses can be hired from any part of Kanker city to reach the temple site.

Kanker exists on National Highway 43 (NH-43). Also, tourists can reach the city easily through Bhanupratappur-Kanker Road as well. Private cabs, non-metered auto rickshaws and state transport buses connect various centres of Chhattisgarh to Kanker.
